Feeling Under The Weather? Try This Natural Cold & Flu Concoction
Alright guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news… But those colder months are on their merry way!
So I thought I’d share this natural cold and flu preventing concoction that I use when I feel those cold symptoms start to creep up (especially during busy seasons).
The genius behind this little holy grail immunity drink is Jennifer Iserloh who featured on episode 16 of the Rise and Conquer Podcast! It goes like this…
Here’s you’ll need:
Juice of 1 lemon (FULL of Vitamin C)
1 grated ginger root (Helps to loosen that uncomfortable congestion)
1/2 tsp of turmeric (Anti-inflammatory)
1 tsp of manuka honey (Antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits)
4 cups of water
And here’s how to make it!
Add all the ingredients (except honey) to a pot and bring to a boil
Once boiling, reduce heat, add honey and let simmer for about 10 minutes
Pour tea through a strainer and drink while warm. Save the rest for later
I personally love this recipe because it’s so easy and it’s natural! Save it and give it a try yourself the next time you feel those sneaky cold symptoms coming on.
