I will never get tired of talking about manifestation (you’ve probably caught onto this by now!)
Why though? Because it’s real. It actually works.
But as the concept of manifestation gains traction on social media, I feel like some of the discussion can get diluted when it’s not stripped back and explained!
I mean, creating physical experiences with your thoughts? C’mon. Raising your vibrations? I’m sorry, what?
I get it, it can sound all a bit ‘woo woo’.
But I’ve got you. I don’t want anyone left out of the conversation, because personally, this practice has helped so many of my goals and dreams become a reality. And you deserve that, too!
Now let’s get back to the basics so you can start tapping into one of your strongest superpowers. Sound good?
But first, what is the Law of Attraction?
When we’re manifesting, we’re working with the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful laws in the universe. It’s always working, because it’s powered by our thoughts.
When I spoke to Larissa Emara in ep 4 of the Rise and Conquer Podcast, she laid it down like this:
“Our thoughts, feelings and core beliefs make up the frequency we’re putting out, which is what we receive back.”
It relates to the idea that everything in our universe is constantly in motion and is vibrating (including us!) So, at all times, we’re putting out a frequency which attracts things that are a vibrational match.
Basically, if you’re exuberating light and positivity, this is what you’ll receive, and vice versa!
Ever woken up on the wrong side of the bed, then you’ve stubbed your toe, then you’re late for work, and the hits just keep on coming? How we’re feeling attracts what we’re about to experience.
Does the saying ‘your vibe attracts your tribe’ sound familiar? That’s basically the Law of Attraction in its simplest form!
So, what is manifesting?
Manifesting is the act of effecting positive (or negative) results into existence through your thoughts, beliefs and actions.
Your mind can’t tell the difference between your subconscious and your conscious thought.
A lot of us are accustomed to subconsciously thinking negative or limiting thoughts, which trains our minds to believe them.
This is where manifesting steps in. It’s important because it helps us train our minds to believe positive and affirming thoughts surrounding what we’re trying to achieve and attract, because that’s what the universe will give us back. It helps us raise our vibrations.
Sounds amazing! But how do I start?
I’m so glad you asked!
Manifestation is a lot more than “let’s just think about it a lot, then it’ll become mine, okay?”
In a recent episode of the Rise and Conquer Podcast, I spoke to mindset coach and manifestation queen Samantha Daily, who breaks down the steps for us loud and clear! I was literally writing them down as we were chatting, and thought they were too good not to share…
Step one: it’s time to get clear!
You’ve got to know exactly what you want, down to as much detail as possible. If you’re not clear on what you desire, then you could call in things that aren’t what you truly want.
For example, saying ‘I want a better job’ isn’t exactly clear. Where is this job? What will you look like when you do this job? What will you feel like?
You can get clear on your desires by writing down your goals, getting introspective about your core values and/or making a vision board!
Step two: match your vibe
Remember what I said about training your mind to believe the thoughts as truth? By raising your vibration to reach the need of what you’re trying to attract, your mind will start believing this as your truth.
Are you trying to attract more financial freedom? Then stop talking negatively about money and acting broke! Instead, feel grateful for money and trust it will be there when you need it and more is on its way.
Step three: feel it, become it
The Law of Attraction works when you’re showing up and taking aligned action towards your goal.
Show up as if your manifestation is already here. How would you act, how would you talk, what would you look like if what you had manifested was already here?
Step four: trust and surrender
Lastly, we need to place our trust wholeheartedly into the hands of the universe.
As tempting as it is to fixate on the logistics, one of the key steps to manifestation is surrendering your vision to the care of the universe. Let it do its thing, and watch it all unfold.
